Primavera Urbana - Urban Spring

Para verte a la moda no siempre tienes que invertir demasiado cada temporada. Si bien soy una apasionada de “mi moda”, no soy partidaria de gastar “millones” en tu guardarropa y mucho menos de contaminar desechando metros y metros de tela cada 6 meses, mínimo.

You don´t always have to invest a lot to be “in trend”. I am passionate about expressing my style, but I´m not in favor of spending “millions” on your wardrobe and even less to pollute the world with tons of cloth every six months, at least.

Hay básicos que nunca pasaran de moda, además de darte la oportunidad de que al hacer ciertas combinaciones hagas que se vean como los looks que vemos en las revistas o en los aparadores. Todas debemos de tener un blazer negro, una tank top blanca y unos shorts de mezclilla.

You must know that there are some pieces that will never be out of style, having some basic and safe stuff will give you the chance to play with different mixes to create new looks. I am sure that most of us have a black blazer, a white tank top and a pair of jeans shorts.

Justo hoy me puse como reto crear un look a base de básicos, obviamente dándole un toque por aquí y otro por allá con mis accesorios. Que debo decirles, no son muy nuevos que digamos, pero la verdad es que yo nunca compro las cosas porque estén de moda, las compro cuando siento esa conexión y veo que puedo usarlas para expresarme a través de mi ropa.

Today I challenged myself to create a look using my basics as a base, obviously giving the look the final touches with my accessories. That I must tell, they are not very new, but I don´t ever buy things because they are “in”, I buy them because they have a piece of me, they help me to express myself through my look.
